Digital Court Reporting – I am a Digital Court Reporter, certified through the American Association of Reporters and Transcribers/CER – 1487. I am a notary in the state of Illinois. Please reach out if you require an accurate verbatim transcript of your conversation or legal event.

Third Coast Hikes – Where I promote natural tourism throughout the Great Lakes region by encouraging campers and hikers to explore their own backyards, and promote the lesser-known examples of our stunning native landscape. Honest gear reviews, trip reports, light feminism and plenty of fresh air.

Unapologetically Ersatz – Where I detail and promote my own pattern and designs for hand knitting. This also includes how-tos, honest yarn and pattern reviews, techniques and news relevant to the greater fiber arts community.

Nonprofit Event Coordination:
Note:
Below are some, but not all, of the nonprofit events and fundraisers where I have taken a leadership role in either a professional or volunteer capacity. This does not include events where I have taken a support role, either as a promoter, coordinator, event manager, controller or any other role that needed to be completed. That list would be much longer.

Sips on a Ship  (for a cause) – This event, the first of its kind for the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless Associate Board, was a tremendous success. This event sold out in the days before the cruise, with over half the ticket sales coming in the last days of the graduated pricing structure. The proceeds from the raffle helped push the revenue from this event over the $10,000 threshold.

Vino & Van Gogh -In 2016 I worked as the staff liaison for the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services’ Junior Board on their annual gala, Vino & Van Gogh. V&VG is an opportunity for all professionals to enjoy art, food, music and drinks while mingling with old friends and making new connections. The year I worked on this event, it saw nearly $50,000 in revenue.

Past Writing Samples:
Note: Below are examples of writing I published prior to 2016. After that year,  I began working directly with a custom content company where all of my projects were governed by a nondisclosure agreement and unfortunately cannot be presented here. You are invited to reach out directly if you have any additional questions.
